Artek has released its first collection with Tokyo leather brand Hender Scheme: eight pieces pairing Finnish modernism with Japanese craft. The A330 Golden Bell pendant and Stool 60 come wrapped in leather, built to darken with daily use.

TRAVEL

Opening on 18 December 2026, Rokaglim is a new forest retreat outside Piteå in northern Sweden. Set around the historic Kvarnbacken homestead, the first phase will include four architect-designed forest houses and a restored 100-year-old barn serving as a communal space for dining and gathering.

Chalayan on a limited-edition capsule collection. Revisiting three of Chalayan’s collections from the early 2000s, the 12-piece collaboration will reinterpret his experimental approach to construction through Acne Studios’ signature denim, jersey and leather.

Björn Frantzén’s long-planned grill restaurant, billed by the Swedish press as the year’s most anticipated opening, opens at Stureplan on 22 October, with cooking over open fire led by Christian Ekman, previously head chef at Brasserie Astoria.
