From A to Z (and even Æ, Ø, Å) Danish design company DESIGN LETTERS & FRIENDS have not only revived Arne Jacobsen's original typography dating back to 1937, but also added a joyous twist to the modern interior scene.

Founded back in 2009 DESIGN LETTERS & FRIENDS was a reaction to a gap in the market; Where oh where could one find just simple, no-fuss black wall letters? The answer was; Nowhere! Only a noisy selection of multi-coloured ones was flooding the market and from a monochrome, Scandinavian point of view.. that was just not an option! And so DESIGN LETTERS & FRIENDS took business into their own hands designing tall, slim and mono-coloured letters and numbers:

Rapidly gaining attention DESIGN LETTERS & FRIENDS started expanding their collection to include lettering onto products and this time with Arne Jacobsen's typography adorning their designs.

Fast forward to today, their graphic product range is selling in over 900 shops in 31 countries and has expanded to include items for the kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. They also have their very own adorable children's range as well as a beautiful minimalist range of stationary.

In the midst of all this spelling they have also started a collaboration with designer Christian Flindt and have so far launched a small range of furniture pieces;  'Table to Go' side table and the 'Stool & Storage' unit, which are as brilliantly minimal as they are functional:

As for the future prospect of DESIGN LETTERS & FRIENDS whose goal is to keep surprising design lovers with novel and beautiful products, I think it is safe to say that they have plenty more A,B,C and 1,2,3 in store for us.
